‘ED GEIN: DEMON HUNTER’ TO GET A VIBRANT MAKEOVER.

The Controversial Serial Killer Mini-Series Set To Have A Colourized Release!

After initially envisioning 'ED GEIN: DEMON HUNTER' in stark black and white, I found myself confronted with an unexpected dilemma. Readers began clamouring for a coloured rendition of the tale, sparking a divide in opinions among fans. Some staunchly believed in the power of black and white, while others yearned for vibrant hues to complement the gripping narrative.

So, a single-coloured page was commissioned and shared publicly on my social media accounts, garnering an overwhelmingly positive response.

     That’s when I spoke to Kristian about colouring a single page of the book so that readers could see what a colourised version of the book would look like… And the page was met with overwhelming amounts of positivity…. So much so that I spoke to Kristian on the following day, and we both agreed, it was time to colour the book.

This is why I am very happy to announce that ‘ED GEIN: DEMON HUNTER’ will be re-released in full, glorious colour.

The brave colourist taking on this project is none other than the artist of the book, Kristian Rossi.

Kristian has coloured many books that he has illustrated for publishers, as well as books illustrated by other artists. He is truly a force to be reckoned with when it comes to producing his unique style of visuals for sequential storytelling.

So it was a no-brainer that he should be the one to colour his already superbly haunting artwork

Due to the colourization of the four-issue mini-series, it became evident to me that it offered an opportunity to rectify any aspects of the book that we didn’t have a chance to address initially.

While a fair amount of the lettering was satisfactory, it's apparent that some adjustments are needed. Therefore, in addition to the colourization process, I will also be diligently working to address any lettering issues that may have arisen in the original black & white run of the book.

While the majority of readers expressed their desire for a colorized version of 'ED GEIN: DEMON HUNTER', there were a few who preferred the book to remain in black and white. To those readers, I would like to reassure you.

The book will be published in the future as a colour edition, we will also be releasing the 'Black & White' Edition of the book as both a collected softcover and a collected hardcover edition.

At present, there is no fixed release date for the colourized version of 'ED GEIN: DEMON HUNTER'. However, as soon as there is a release date or schedule for the book, I'll share all the details with you.
