A Personal Statement From Lucifer Storm
Adversity has a funny way of showing up uninvited, and toward the end of September, it knocked on my door.
Through no fault of my own, I found myself in a situation where someone chose to act aggressively toward me without valid reason. My personal safety was at risk, and I had to make the difficult decision to leave my home abruptly. While this choice was necessary, it came with significant consequences for my work and the connection I share with all of you.
Without a home base, every aspect of my work life has been disrupted. Without access to my equipment, files, inventory, and essential paperwork, I’ve been unable to fulfil orders, attend conventions, or continue creating as I normally would.
Adding to this, I’ve been left without a permanent home and am currently doing everything I can to secure new accommodation to get things back on track.
This has been deeply frustrating, not just for me but for those who’ve been waiting on updates or fulfilment of pre-orders of issues three and four of 'Lady Satan'.
I want you to know that I’m doing everything I can to resolve this situation and regain access to the tools I need to move forward.
Luckily, through this trying time, I've had and continue to receive incredible support from incredible people. Your support means the world to me, and I’m incredibly grateful for the patience and understanding you’ve shown during this time.
Please know that I remain committed to delivering the stories and experiences that brought us together in the first place.
The road ahead may be long, but it’s one I’m determined to walk. While things remain in flux, I’ll continue working toward a resolution and will keep you updated along the way.
Thank you for standing by me through this challenging period. It’s your encouragement that keeps me pushing forward, and I can’t wait to dive back into creating the characters and their stories that so many of you have enjoyed.
